Merida Top is the perfect summer top – with its simple look, it pairs well with most summer outfits. The top is knitted in a 2x1 broken rib stitch, which makes the fabric stretchy and therefore incredibly comfortable to wear.

Construction
Merida top is worked top-down. The back piece is made first with increases. Then the stitches for the two front pieces are picked up, and worked separately before they are connected. Once the two frontpieces are connected, the front is worked with increases for the armholes. Afterwards the front- and back pieces are connected, and the rest of the body is worked in the round, finished with a ribbed hem. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline and armholes, where ribbing is also made.
