How about a light confection of a shawl that has some soft cushy texture and manages to use up scrap fingering yarn as well? And has a little bit of holey lace and a little bit of garter and stockinette stitch? And has an easy to memorize pattern that scales up to as large as you want to go? Sign me up!

Here is that shawl! This is an easy quick project that uses all fingering yarn. You will need one complete 100 g. skein of a solid color (I have used white) and about 120 g. of scraps to achieve the size that is shown here—66” x 34”. But if you want to scale up or down in size, that is easily accomplished.

This shawl is appropriate for an adventurous beginner or an intermediate knitter. There are no charts to read, just easy written instructions.
