These lovely sheep themed cushion/pillow covers have garter stitch borders, with either a ram or ewe sheep motif centred on the front knitted in stocking stitch using the intarsia method. A fleck stitch pattern surrounds the motif and covers the back. Included with this pattern are instructions to make a cover using the fleck stitch pattern only, without the sheep motif.

The covers pictured are worked flat using a chunky/bulky weight wool yarn and 6.5mm/US10.5 needles. The covers fit a 35cm/14in x 35cm/14in pad. The yarn amounts given above are for one cover only.

The Pattern Instructions are written out in full for each cushion/pillow cover. This means that you don’t have to flip back and forth through the pattern to find relevant sections that are the same for each cover; it also means that you can print only the relevant pages should you so wish; it does, however, mean more pages in total! The Pattern Instructions for the Ram cover can be found on pages 3 to 7, the Ewe cover on pages 8 to 12 and Fleck Stitch cover on page 13.
I hope this helps.
