Merle
by Sarah Hatton
This sweater by Sarah Hatton is knitted in the round from the bottom up, with a plain stocking stitch body. A strip of lace trim in a contrasting yellow shade is knitted separately, then joined with the body stitches to work the two-colour striped lace yoke. The same yellow shade is used for the ribbed neckline. The sweater is knitted in Morris DK, a blend of British wools from West Yorkshire Spinners.
