“Clark Gable was the first to have called me a mermaid.” Esther Williams

I love mermaids. So I had to create a mermaid themed sock pattern. The top of the foot is lined with rows of little shells. The heel is adorned with 3 mermaid tails. You are getting 2 patterns in 1!! I wrote the anklet pattern first, then one of my testers wanted them in sock form. The way the anklet pattern was written wouldn’t work for socks so I wrote another pattern for the socks. Sizes medium and large.

On pages 9 and 12 on Short Row 1: it says to k2ttbl- this should be SSK. I knit them the same way so it was an oversight- it didn’t get changed before the pattern was saved in a pdf.
