~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mermaid Spell is a triangular garter stitch shawl with a smattering of picots, and a triangle-and-diamond applied lace edging. Knit in one piece using Shetland construction and completely reversible, the shawl begins as a rather simple knit and progresses into something a bit more challenging.
The lace pattern is both written and charted.
The pattern also include a simpler garter scalloped edging in addition to the original.
This shawl was originally created for the 2018 Long Island Yarn Crawl
