When the weather gets cold and grey what you really need is the brightest hat to cheer you up!

Merola is knit from the bottom up in the round, the ribbing is folded over for extra warmth but you could of course knit a shorter ribbing if you prefer.

If you decide to add a pompom (you really should!) you will need an additional 30 - 50yds / 27 - 46m of MC yarn.

Materials:

MC (yellow): 30 (35, 40)yds / 27 (32, 37)m

C2 (blue): 27 (30, 35)yds / 25 (37, 32)m
