—from the movie The Wizard of Oz

Merry Old Land of Oz is a simple square with a textured broken brick road motif created solely from knit and purl stitches. Inspired by the classic children’s novel by L. Frank Baum, Wizard of Oz, the finished square can be used as a generous mug rug or you can make multiple squares and seam them together for a lovely blanket.

Size: 7 inches square
