‘Merry Sashi Vest’ is the christmas version of ‘Sashi Vest“
It is worked top-down in garter stitch. It is knitted in two different yarn qualities which together creates a flattering contrast in texture and provides a comfortable fit. The upper part is worked in three strands of dense, brushed wool. This section forms the yoke and has a firm, warm structure due to the tight gauge. The brushed wool has very little stretch after washing or wear, helping the yoke maintain its shape and structure over time.
The lower part is worked in six strands of soft alpaca, which gives the fabric a lighter drape and a more fluid feel.
