This pattern has been rated as “Intermediate” meaning it is suitable for those already familiar with amigurumi and a good knowledge of crocheting basics and techniques. In addition to basic crochet stitches this pattern assumes you have knowledge of working in the round, and in rows, increasing and decreasing stitches and working through front loop or back loop only. All of these techniques can be easily learnt through free online tutorials if you are not familiar with them.

Finished product size is approximately 12cm wide and 22cm tall (including antlers) when crocheted using a 3mm hook and using cotton 8ply/DK yarn

Stitches used include: magic ring, chain, single crochet, double crochet, increase, decrease, half-double crochet increase, double crochet increase, slip stitch.

Materials needed: cotton yarn of 50-70g in 8 ply for main colour of the Santa Sack, and smaller amounts of the colours for the dog, antlers, and tongue. Also a crochet hook, toy stuffing, yarn needle to sew in ends, plus safety eyes and nose, and stitch markers if desired.
