This crocheted cowl with flower is an easy to make project with several styling options. It can be worn with or without the flower or even as a headband.

The mesh cowl is crocheted in the round in a spiral manner which eliminates the need for joining rows or rounds thus making it a seamless piece. The cowl also features a scalloped edge and detachable flower.

Half a skein of Malabrigo Sock yarn in the color Light of Love was used to make the cowl shown in the photos. The cowl can be made from any fingering weight or sock yarn and it’s fun to experiment with different yarn weights too. Keep in mind though that the thicker the yarn, the larger your project will turn out.
