Worked from the point up, this easy-to-knit shawl features garter stitch grid lines checkered with mirrored openwork mesh squares and a sassy little tassel. Add a few beads to sparkle up this airy plaid or keep it plain. A terrific project for the colourful tonal stripes of Pure Intonation 4-Ply, or the unique dance of colours with elann Tarantella.

Using just one ball, it’s the perfect project for that one special skein hiding in your stash!

Materials: approx 400m (437 yds) of fingering weight
Optional: 100 - Size 6 beads and 1 large bead for tassel

IMPORTANT! The shawl used every last inch of the skein of Pure Intonation and it is suggested that a safety line be inserted before working the final pattern repeat. (The smaller dimensions represent stopping one repeat earlier.)

Gauge: One 9-st x 18-row repeat = 6.3cm (2.5”) square - blocked
