MESSINA
MESSINA - a becoming jumper in 2ply (fingeing) jumper weight wool in a nice relaxed fit. The pattern is a sloping diagonal rib divided by columns in garter st running straight up mid front and back, mid sleeves and up the sides. Raglan shaped sleeves. Written pattern with charts. Worked flat but is suitable to work also in rounds.
Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 4↓.
The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as inches.
Sizes included in the pattern: small - medium - large - xlarge - 2xlarge
Yarn: this design applies to a 2ply (fingering) Jumper weight) Shetland type wool, 25 g = ca. 115 meters. You’ll need 200 - 250 - 300 - 350 - 400 g in col. A (body) and 150 - 150 - 200 - 250 - 300 g in col. B (sleeves and collar).
I recommend the wool 2ply Jumper Weight Shetland wool, 100 % Shetland wool from Jamieson and Smith, Lerwick, Shetland Isles.

Bust: 100 cm - 110 cm - 118 cm - 129 cm - 139 cm (in: 39.5 - 43.25 - 50.75 - 54.75)
Length: 58 cm - 60 cm - 63 cm - 64 cm - 66 cm (in: 22.75 - 23.5 - 24.75 - 25.25 - 26)
