Metamorphosis I, featured in the book Dreams, is a traditional shawl knit from the top down to the long edge It combines one skein each of a semi solid yarn and a variegated one of kind dyed by Zen Yarn Garden. Using the lighter color first, the darker color is anchored into the knit on edging which is simpler to knit than it appears. The shawl has written instructions as well as charts.

Dreams, the fourth book by Michelle Miller has twelve lovely designs that use 1250 yards of yarn or less! Michelle is known for creating beautiful patterns that use only one skein of luxury yarn and continues with that theme in Dreams, Fickle Knitter Design Volume 2, along with designers Roxanne Yeun, Meghan Jackson, Suzanne Nielsen, Kate Poe and Natalie Servant.

There is something for every knitter in this collection. The book contains directions for two hats, three sweaters, and eight shawls. All patterns have thoroughly tested written instructions and charts where applicable. Each pattern has been tech edited and test knit for accuracy and clarity.

Yarn substitution may result in a change in estimated yardage, gauge and finished size of your individual project.
