Meteor shower top
The Meteor Showers top includes a gorgeous lace back and subtle, glittery texture. Its name originates from the yarn I used, which is eucalyptus-based. The top is knit from the top down, starting with the back. The front stitches are then joined seamlessly at the shoulders, using the Provisional Cast On. The front is knit in the lace pattern to the underarms. At this stage, the back and front stitches are joined, and the body is completed in one piece and finished with an i-cord bind off. Neck edging and armhole finishing complete the garment.
For this pattern I used Eucalyptus yarn, held double. The yarn can be replaced with any other that matches the gauge; however, a plant-based fiber is recommended.
Shown above in size 32 inches with a +2 ease at the bust.
The directions include an ease of +0.5-1.5 inches at the chest (see table below). For example, knitting size 34 will result in a circumference of 35 inches at the chest.
