Entrelac! Tick-tock, back and forth. Knitting these tipsy tilty squares is like potato chip knitting: you can’t knit just one. You can knit fingerless mitts with or without thumbs, or go minimalist with wristlets. Use bits of fingering weight yarn from your stash to work in two or more colors, or use a slow color-changing yarn and let it make the color choices for you.

Gauge
12 stitches and 17 rows to 2 inches (5 cm) over stockinette worked flat (blocked)

Each square entrelac unit measures approximately 1.25 inches (3 cm) horizontally from tip to tip. Both sample yarns were knit to this gauge; the singles sport weight yarn makes a slightly denser fabric.
