Mexican Cactus

You’ll need to know these basic stitches, plus how to change yarn color:
MR: Magic ring
Sc: Single crochet
Dc: Double crochet
Ch: Chain
Slst: Slip stitch
Inc: Increase
Dec: Decrease
FLO: Front loop only
BLO: Back loop only
FO: Fasten off
The pattern is crocheted in spiral rounds.
SIZE
I used 8/4 yarn with a 3mm crochet hook. My Mexican Cactus turned out approximately approximately 5 inches high and the pot is 3 inches wide.
MATERIALS
Any yarns in green and brown & some bright Mexican colors!
Crochet hook that matches the size of your yarn
Pink and black embroidery thread
Tapestry/yarn needle
Stitch marker
Pins
Scissors
Polyfill stuffing
A pair of safety eyes and washers. I used 6mm safety eyes
Small piece of cardboard (e.g from a cereal box)
