Mhanga (muh-HAN-ga) is a word in Swahili meaning a few things: victim, blood sacrifice, and aardvark!
This plush stands about 22cm / 8½in tall, taller with no hood. A different size yarn or hook may change the resulting size. It stands without support.
You will need DK yarn in the following colours:
- tan or light brown for the body (one 100g ball)
- black for the cloak (one 100g ball)
- red/white for the eyes (small amount)
You will also need:
- a 3.0mm crochet hook
- pins
- a darning needle
- stuffing
- scissors
- if you don’t want the crochet eyes included in the pattern, ~15mm safety eyes
