Mi-parti in French: “divided down the middle”, a fashion style featuring different colored fabrics joined together in the middle: dresses, legwear, footwear, cowls etc.

Minimalist and luxurious looking but striking and utilitarian, this bag can be made with metal or crochet handles (both options are described in PDF). The bag consists of two identical heptagons sewn together: one made in off-white yarn and another made in blue yarn. Each heptagon is worked in the round, always in the same direction. You can make a large opening in your bag by sewing 4 sectors of each hexagon or a narrower opening for people who prefer safety.

If you sew the edges of both heptagons and fill in the inside with polyester wadding-batting (Sintepon) or alike, you will have a beautiful cushions for yourself or your loved ones.
