Michelina is a flirty, crescent-shaped shawl decorated with pops of contrasting color. Surprisingly simple stitches make this an impressive addition to any wardrobe.

The Michelina shawl is worked flat, from the bottom up. A contrasting color cast on (with tassels added at the end) sets the stage. A simple, two-row chevron lace pattern follows, creating a lovely fan. Staccato wrapped stitches are bordered above and below by an eyelet sequence. The remainder of the shawl is worked in Stockinette Stitch short rows, giving it a gentle crescent shape. The lace pattern is written.
