★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE (if you use thick yarn) and ADVANCED (if you use thin yarn)
★ FINISHED SIZE - mouse fit into a walnut shell ~2.5-3cm, heart box ~5.5х4.5cm

★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :

  • Yarn: I use thin «Slonim» yarn (cotton+acrylic, 100g ~ 1500m). Colors: grey, pink to crochet a mouse; yellow, white, green to crochet a flower. Floss of 1-2 threads is also suitable; you need a thin thread, as thin as possible. To crochet a box: Gamma «Iris» (cotton, 10g ~ 82m), colors: light and dark yellow, white. NOTE: this pattern can also be used for crocheting toys from thicker yarn, so if it is difficult for you to crochet using thin yarn, try to crochet using thicker yarn first. To decorate the face: pink (embroider the nose), black (embroider the mouth, eyebrows) and white (embroider a semicircle beside the eyes) thread.

  • Hook №0.7 (0.7mm) for a mouse (it is extremely difficult to crochet from thin yarn, try different hook numbers, perhaps it will be more convenient for you to crochet using thinner or thicker hook: №0.6-0.9); hook №1 (1mm) for a box

  • Fiberfill (to stuff)

  • Glue eyes (2mm)

  • For a box: linen hook (or other fastener), a piece of plastic or cardboard 2pcs + thick foamiran 2pcs (or isolon, insulation, sintepon … so the box will be soft outside)

  • Needle, safety pins, scissors, glue (Moment Crystal), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).

★ SKILLS REQUIRED:

You must have basic crochet skills (with crocheting micro toys) - this pattern is not so easy so please ask me if you will have some questions/difficulties.

This pattern is ADVANCED LEVEL but easy to follow with step-by-step instructions (10 pages with detailed instructions and ~60 photos illustrating the process)
