The Mid Summer Breeze Poncho is perfect for a day at the beach or a night out. I designed it to wear as an open poncho with jeans and a shirt or seam it up the sides and wear it as a beach cover up. I used Caron Cotton Cakes as it has the perfect drape and is cool enough for those warm summer months. The pattern is a set of basic repeats. You can easily customize it to be shorter, longer, and add or take away width. Make it solid or follow the simple striping on the pattern. Anyway you make it, I can’t wait to see your finished poncho!

This pattern is labeled advanced beginner due to the I-cord. The poncho itself is more beginner friendly. An ambitious beginner would have no problem with this pattern.
