Midnight Margaritas is a rectangular scarf knit flat from end to end, creating a little enchantment into every stitch. Perfect for textured yarns that shimmer with mystery or vibrant seasonal hues that capture the magic of the changing year. This design transforms simple knitting into a spell of color and texture. Wrap yourself in its cozy charm and carry a touch of moonlit wonder wherever you go—because every wardrobe deserves a bit of practical magic!

Yarn
The Periwinkle Sheep – Yarnfetti
C1 – The Witch’s Cauldron (100 g)
C2 – Ultraviolet (35 g)
C3 – Witch’s Brew (35 g)
C4 – Fire (35 g)
C5 – Slate (100 g)
Total Yardage - approx. 305g/ 1326 yds fingering weight yarn

Colorway Update: The original sample was knit with the Fire colorway (C4), which has since been retired by the dyer. The pattern is unaffected, and any similar saturated orange will work beautifully. I recommend The Periwinkle Sheep Yarnfetti in Copper Pipe as a substitute.

C1 & C5 uses almost the entire 435 yds. If you are worried about running short, you may want to have two skeins or use a yarn with more yardage.

Gauge is not imperative for this project. However, changes in gauge may result in differences in size and yarn requirements

This shawl uses five colors, but feel free to add as many or few as you like. It is perfect for using up small amounts of leftover yarns and mini skein sets.

I recommend carrying C1 & C5 up the side during the short color changes.
