Inspiration struck me at midnight, and although I hastily scribbled down my thoughts so as not to lose them, I was moved to get up and actually start working on it.

This pattern can be worked up in any combination of heavy/light combination. For the sample I used Sweet Georgia Superwash Chunky, and Apple Basket DK.

The white and blue cowl was done in JMF Chadwick for the body and JMF Moonshine for the icord. With this version I started with 16 more stitches than the pattern called for.

Gauge is not really important on this, choose a hook that is appropriate for the weight of yarn you’ve chosen.

I used an EmbelishKnit! to make my icord. If you don’t have one, or are using a yarn too light for your icord, there is a link in the pattern to a tutorial for making a crochet version of icord.
