Whether you want a straight front or cutaway front, you’ll want to wear this charming 3/4-length sleeve cropped raglan cardigan for every occasion.
For both versions, the body is worked in one piece to the armholes, beginning with a wide lace hem work in one or two colors. Midnight (the version with the cutaway front) works front edge shaping along the whole length of the body, while Serenade has straight front edges. Both versions have a little side shaping for a more feminine fit. After dividing for the armholes, work the fronts and back separately with raglan shaping which is worked the same for both versions.
The sleeves are worked in the round from the cuff with the same one or two color lace hem, then divided at the bottom of the armhole to work the raglan cap back and forth.
Once the pieces are sewn together, knit the collar and join it to the neck edge using three-needle bind-off. A single button closes the front at the neckline.
The pattern includes yarn amounts for working each version in both one color and two colors.
