This Midsummer top has a double V and is knitted top down. Due to this you have the advantage to choose your desired length.
Each front will be knitted separately and then both will be joined, the same for the back. After joining all parts you are knitting in rounds until your desired length. At the hem there is an easy lace part. The straps have a pattern of some single cables which gives more stability and an appearance of chained straps.
In this pattern I will show you how you can construct this top on a needle without putting parts on waste yarn. Additionally a photo tutorial is given to knit cables without an additional needle.

Sizes:
XS, (S), M, (L), XL, (XL.1), XXL
Bust circumference: 76, (86), 96, (106), 116, (122), 126 cm.
Length: 46, (48), 51, (54), 57, (58), 60 cm.

Gauge:
20 stitches 24 rows give 10cm (4”) in stockinette stitch after washing.

Yarn:
150, (150), 200, (250), 300, (350), 350g Line by Sandnes (53% cotton, 33% viskose und 14% flax) 110 meters (120yards) per 50g or yarn you get required gauge.

Sample has been knitted in size S, longer version with 55 cm in total. Used yarn and amount: 170g Sandens Line color 4621 (rose).

Dieses Top mit einem V Ausschnitt vorne und am Rücken wird „top down“, also von oben nach unten gestrickt und bietet damit die Möglichkeit die Länge beliebig anzupassen. Die Vorderteile werden zunächst nach provisorischem Maschenanschlag einzeln gestrickt und zu einem Vorderteil zusammengefügt, das Gleiche für das Rückenteil. In dieser Anleitung gebe ich an, wie die Einzelteile auf der Nadel verbleiben können bis dann alles zur Runde geschlossen wird und in Runden bis zur gewünschten Länge gestrickt wird. Am Bund gibt es in optionales einfaches Lochmuster und die nachträglich angestrickten Träger erhalten ein Muster aus verkreuzten Maschen und haben dadurch auch mehr Stabilität. Die Optik erinnert an Ketten.

Garn:
150, (150), 200, (250), 300, (350), 350g Line von Sandnes (53% Baumwolle, 33% Viskose und 14% Leinen) 110 Meter (120yards) per 50g oder ein anderes Garn mit dem die Maschenrobe erreicht wird.
Das Muster wurde in Größe S mit etwas mehr Länge (Gesamt 55cm) aus 170g Sandens Line in der Farbe 4621 (Rosé) gestrickt.
