Another December without snow and green Christmas days inspired me to create some accessories featuring a lot of snowflakes.

This hat uses only 40g of fingering weight yarn and fits easily into a jacket or coat pocket, ready to protect your head and ears from the cold on a walk, if you have to hurry to the station, or wait for the bus.

The pattern includes some easy to knit colorwork parts and offers a great way to experiment with this technique.

Designed to match “Mindwinter Neckwarmer”
and “Wishing for Snow Socks”
