PATTERN NOTES
The gloves are cast on, and a cuff is worked in a 2x2 rib pattern.
After increasing stitches and beginning to work from colourwork charts, a placeholder of waste yarn is inserted into the fabric of the palm for the afterthought thumb.
The charts are completed, and the hand is finished with two short rows. Each of the four fingers and the thumb are worked seperately in stockinette stitch.
