An adorable unisex baby cardigan using engineered cables to give it a wonderful shape. Knit from the top down with just one skein (100g) of yarn.
Materials:
Yarn: One skein of The Uncommon Thread DK
(100% superwash Blue Faced Leicester, 225m/100g).
Shown here in the shade ‘Into Dust’. Any good DK yarn can be substituted.
Needles: 3.75mm (UK 9/US 5)
Notions: Cable needle, 2 pieces of waste yarn and
one button. Button shown here is from Loop, London and is the Bambi Button.
Tension:22 stitches and 32 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch and 28 stitches and 32 rows to 10cm over rib and cable pattern both on 3.75mm needles.
To Fit: 3-6 months

back: 30cm wide, centre back from neck to bottom edge: 20cm, sleeve length from neck to edge: 15cm
