Can you ever have enough linen in your closet? This lovely linen-cotton blend boasts great stitch definition and lovely drape for this modern short-sleeved top. A knit cotton-linen piece has the advantage of getting better the more you wear it—wearing and washing softens the fibres. This top is worked in two flat pieces, is seamed together, and then the short sleeves and bottom hem are worked in the round. The lacy pattern is striking, yet easy to remember so it’s not too taxing on the brain (you can still watch TV while making this piece once you get into the rhythm of it!).
