Notes:
This pattern uses US terminology
Skill Level - Beginner
Square brackets indicate the pattern and the number of times it is repeated e.g. sc 1, inc x 6 means single crochet one stitch, increase in the next stitch. Repeat 6 times.
Round brackets ( ) indicate the number of stitches you should have after each round/row.
Mark your first stitches to make it easy to locate later.
I have used a lighter colored yarn for demonstration.
Materials:
Yarn – Weight-3 acrylic yarn
Hook – 4mm hook
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Measuring Tape (optional)
Piece of 4-inch-wide cardboard (if adding tassel)
You can use this pattern with any type of yarn with the recommended hook size.
Abbreviations:
st/sts – stitch/stitches
ch – chain
hdc – half double crochet
BLO - Back Loop Only - instead of working in both the loops, work only into the back loop of the stitch
