Mikkels beanie
The beanie is worked down-up, with italian cast-on. Italian CO makes a elastic edge. The beanie has a brim fold, meant to be 6 (8) 8 cm. The decreases are worked by knitting or purling two stitches together four different places on a round. The beanie is worked with double yarn Tynn Merinoull or other fingering weight yarn with the same gauge. The beanie is meant for a snug fit, so feel free to make a gauge swatch to make sure it will fit nicely.

Mikkels cowl
The cowl is worked top-down in dbl-rib. It’s worked the same way as the beanie, with inc to fit shoulders. Just like the beanie, there’s 4 markers for inc.
