I love long mitts that I can scrunch into coat sleeves. They can be worn easily with a sweater and are a must when wearing capes or ponchos. This design creates short floats that allow your hands to move in and out without snagging. The Fair Isle patterns have been designed so there is no need to catch floats as you knit. Mitts are worked in the round from the cuff to the fingers.

It starts with a hemmed cuff which is so easy to do as you knit and finished with corrugated ribbing at the fingers. The pattern is charted.
