This is a military purple heart blanket for an honoree with 3 purple hearts. If you don’t know how many purple hearts your honoree has earned, you can always replace the bronze squares with purple. Half of all proceeds from the sales of this pattern will be gifted to my father-in-law’s local Military Order of the Purple Heart Organization. Uses between 6,500 and 7,000 yards of yarn.
