Milkshake is a thick, aran weight sock pattern with a good amount of stretch. The pattern is super quick and easy and is perfect for beginners looking to try sock making for the first time or the experienced crocheter looking for a simple make.

For my sock I’ve used Marriner aran fleck with tweed and a hook size of 5mm.

I would encourage keeping your crochet loose rather than tight to give you plenty of stretch when making this sock. If you know you crochet tightly I’d encourage you to go up a hook size.
