These are simple fingerless mitts. The repeating stitch that creates the texture (which imo looks like long-stemmed milkwort flowers) comes from a book titled “The Fashion of Knitting,” published in Chinese in Hong Kong sometime before 1979.

The pattern is written for M-L adult hands. Fit can be adjusted by moving up or down a needle size, or by increasing or decreasing total stitches in multiples of 10 (the width of the repeating stitch pattern).

Tools/Notions: dpns or circular needles for magic loop, 4 stitch markers, waste yarn, tapestry needle.
