Mille wird topdown gestrickt. Du startest mit dem hinteren Halsausschnitt und formst durch seitliche Zunahmen die Schulterschrägen. Danach strickst du beide Vorderteilhälften direkt an und nach Erreichen der Halsausschnittweite fügst du diese zusammen. Sobald die Armlochhöhe erreicht ist, legst du die Maschen von Vorder- und Rückenteil zusammen und strickst in Runden weiter. Die Maschen für die Ärmel nimmst du direkt aus den Armlochöffnungen auf und strickst diese ebenfalls in Runden. Kragen und Bündchen werden im verschränkten 1/1 Ribmuster gestrickt und italienisch abgekettet

Mille is worked top down in stockinette stitch. You start with the back neck and shape the slanted shoulders using side increases. Both front pieces are then picked up and worked directly from the shoulders; once the desired neck width is reached, the fronts are joined. When the armhole depth is achieved, the front and back stitches are combined and the body is worked in the round. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up from the armhole openings and knitted in the round. Collar and hem are worked in twisted 1×1 rib and finished with an Italian bind off.
