Achillea millefolium, also known as Common Yarrow, is a wildflower found in Southern Alberta. This wildflower is found in moist meadows and openings in boreal forests. The Yarrow flower is actually a cluster of multiple flower heads which provide a rich source of nourishment for butterflies and other insects. The white and pale pink colour of the Yarrow’s flowers are the inspiration for this colour-work cowl.
