This is an easy and quick knit blanket perfect for a baby gift that will be treasured by your loved one. It is the perfect pattern for trying color work with easy garter stitch stripes and a simple lace pattern.

There are a variety of yarns that you can use from a regular worsted weight, worsted plus, aran, chunky, etc.

Because of the simplicity of this pattern you could easily modify it and make a larger blanket / throw by increasing/ decreasing your cast on (by an even number of stiches) and repeating more sections.

I designed this pattern while awaiting the arrival of my first born grandchild who knows me as ‘Mimi“ out of the discontinued Classic Elite Sprout which is a worsted/bulky organic cotton.
