Description

This is a cute little chick I made to celebrate Easter and the Minecraft Spring update 2026! This is my favourite of the Minecraft “Tiny Takeover” baby mob changes. I can’t get over the cube chicks. Now you can make one too! He works up extremely quickly and looks adorable.

Easy. This pattern is low sew!

Size

~3cm tall (not including the feet) 3.5cm wide (not including the wings)

Materials

3.5 or 4mm crochet hook
Stuffing
Yarn needle
Scissors
Pins
Black embroidery floss (optional)
Double knit Yarn in the following colours (or your own colours for customization):
Yellow
Brown
Black

Terminology

FO = Fasten off
Slst = Slip Stitch
Ch = Chain
Sc = Single crochet
Hdc = Half double crochet
BLO = Back loop only
Dec = Decrease (invisible decrease in FLO)
Sc3dec = Decrease 3 stitches into 1
Sc3inc = Work 3 sc in one stitch
