This Minecraft inspired baby chicken or cube chick is quite simple and easy to make. The stitches are basic, though I do use some advanced techniques for better detailing. If this is too hard, you can always use your own learned techniques.

Size: The size depends on use of yarn, hook and tension used, no guage necessary.
Materials: I prefer cotton yarn for these amigurumi creations. Yellow, brown and black. Block of cushion foam.

You will be working in rounds, rows and around a foundation chain.

Special stitches and techniques: For the wings and legs I used a thermal crochet stitch. YouTube has tutorials on this stitch if my instructions are unclear to you. I also use back-loop-only stitches and I use the back bump of foundation chain stitches. You can google both these methods on YouTube as well.
