Living in Minnesota the kids need warm hats for outside play, I never felt the single layered hats were enough to keep the heads and ears warm on a cold windy day. This hat is double knitted, with two different sides for mood and versatility. And what kid doesn’t love Minecraft.

The pattern fits a child, to make the hat larger or smaller simple go up or down a needle size or two.

I used about 100 yards of each color of Plymouth Encore, but any worsted weight yarn will do the trick.
