Minecraft Steve Blankie
This was made as a gift for a little boy, as I rolled with the punches through a power outage during Hurricane Helene.
I like to resemble being stuck under continuing layers of minecraft rock. The tweed yarn especially gives the ‘rock’ layers a ‘pixelated’ look up close.
This IS a child size blanket, but since it’s in granny stitches, feel free to add as many rows as desired.
I might add this blanket only took less than a week to complete as well.
For Steve:
Big Twist Value Solids - Chocolate Brown
Big Twist Value Solids - Peach (or Camel)
Big Twist Value Solids - Varsity Blue
Big Twist Value Solids - White
I couldn’t tell how much of each these, sorry, since I was using scrap yarn. I do know you won’t need much because he is relatively small.
Steve is 20 rows of 20 stitches in single crochet, worked from the bottom to the top, right to left. He should be approx. 4.71 x 4.71 inches.
1 skein of:
Big Twist Value Solids - Titanium
1 skein of:
Big Twist Value Solids: Soft Grey
6 skeins of:
Dollar Tree ‘Premier Just Yarn - Gray Tweed’
