This vest is worked seamlessly. The vest starts by working the Leaf motif in the round. After that you work back and forward shaping the back of neck and the left shoulder and then finishing with the left front until the underarm. Then you work the right shoulder and the right front . After finishing shaping of the armholes all pieces need to be connected and knitted top down. Short rows shape the curved lower edge.The I-cord around the back of the neck and both fronts are worked at the same time as the body. The designer gives you ideas about how you can modify the pattern. If the size of your Leaf motif does not match with the pattern or you’d like to make the vest shorter
