This pattern is for Minerva the Owl. She is designed to be your own, personal owl companion.

Size: This crochet owl is inspired by the little owl and measures about 9.5 inches / 24cm, just as her real life counterpart. You could however up or down scale her by using a different yarn weight and hook size.

Skill level: This pattern is suitable for crocheters with some amigurumi experience, as well as seasoned amigurumi enthusiasts.

Construction: The head and body are crocheted in one go. The tail feathers are crocheted on.
The feathers of the wings are crocheted on, as well as the toes and talons on the legs.
The beak and three different parts for the face (crocheted with faux fur yarn) are sewn on, as well as the wings and the legs.

Instructions: This pattern has detailed step-by-step instructions that are accompanied with high quality photos of the process.
The pattern includes photo tutorials on how to make a magic ring and invisible decreases in single crochet.
