The Minette Cardigan is a top-down, seamless hybrid raglan cardigan with simple lace columns down the open fronts and a choice of short or long sleeves.

The Minette Cardigan and its mate the Minette Pullover both feature a simple-to-work hybrid raglan construction: instead of working the same number of raglan increases for sleeve and bust, which often leads to too-wide sleeves and saggy baggy armholes by the time the number of stitches required for the bust are reached, the knitter increases the width of the body for a number of rows before beginning the sleeve increases. This unusual shaping results in a closer, more comfortable and more flattering fit than most knitters can achieve using a traditional raglan pattern.

Designed to be worn with 0-3” positive ease, the Minette Cardigan fits a wide range of sizes, from a 27.75” to a 58” bust. It also includes some instructions on customizing the fit, as well as instructions for your choice of short or long sleeves. The Minette Cardigan can be worn alone or as a twinset with the Minette Pullover.

Also available as a print pattern from Mountain Colors.
