Approximate size is 9cm from the head to tail if you use the suggested hook size and weight.

Gauge is unimportant for this.

You will need a very small amount of DK yarn for the body and scraps of a contrasting DK weight yarn for the ear and tail pieces. I used Stylecraft DK but any DK weight yarn will work.

This mini axolotl is made from the head down in the spiral the ear and tail contrasting details sewn on afterwards.
