Mini-blue and gold macaw
Mini-Blue and gold macaw crochet pattern
For this project, you can use any yarn. The size of your finished macaw will depend on the yarn, hook, and tension you used. With a 3 mm yarn and 2 mm hook, the macaw I made is 10 cm height.
Materials
- Medium yarn (3 mm) in blue, yellow, white and black (only for the beak). For the whole pattern, you will need less than 8 grams of yarn. I recommend medium cotton yarn, but you can use any yarn.
-A pair of 4 mm safety eyes (if it’s meant for a toddler, make a french knot instead).
-Black embroidery thread
-2 mm crochet hook (or any hook that allows you to crochet your selected yarn, without leaving holes in your work).
-Needle yarn.
- Embroidery needle
-Scissors
- Tweezers (to attach the keyring)
-Stuffing (polyester filling)
