US #4 16” Circular Needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

26 stitches and 40 rounds = 4” in stockinette stitch

Notes: This slouchy hat features simple crown shaping and slipped stitches to create the chain effect for each contrasting band of colors. If you can knit stripes, you can knit this hat!
