Sometimes I just want to knit a basic sock, but a plain vanilla sock can be a bit humdrum. My solution was a simple ribbed sock but with a little twist - a mini cable between the the columns of ribbing! The best thing? No cable needle required!

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

Size: Adult Small (Medium, Large)

Gauge: 32 sts and 48 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch (gauge will vary depending on the yarn used; adjust needle size as needed)

Suggested Yarn: Cascade Yarns Heritage 150 Prints, Color No. 3 Spruce (75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon, 150 grams, 492 yards/450 meters) or other sock/fingering weight yarn. Contrasting yarn if desired for cuffs, heels and toes.

Needles: US size 1 (2.25 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
